- Changes in the rendering engine for higher quality shadows at a small performance cost.
- Protein atoms can now be colored based on their residue (ARG, HIS, LYS...).
- Protein atoms can now be colored based on their secondary structure (helix, sheet or loop).
- Added a UI control to change the direction of the light source.
- Several more elements can have their colors customized within the app: F, Na, P, Cl, K, Ca, Fe, Zn and I.
- PDB file reading is now multithreaded, making the opening of bigger files much faster.

- After BioViewer is downloaded, you'll see an INSTALL button to the right. Tap on it to start the actual installation of the iOS app.
- Once installation is finished you can tap on the OPEN button to start it. Its icon will also be added to your device home screen.
